Where have you been all my life?

Well, this photo speaks to the heart of Lover Fighter... right to the bone!  Although these jewels are not quite our style, we are happy to mix and match, perhaps over a lovely chicken dinner (with lots of napkins please)

On that note, here is something truly delicious: how about this new leather!  There are still a few of these super rad loose-fitting cuffs left of this very small batch of wicked scraps. Yummy.

And for the new star of the show... Lover Fighter is delving into another real passion: BAGS!  Oh yes, the leather just keeps getting better and we intend to use it all up on some delightfully simple totes.  These will become a 'build-your-own-bag' project with lots of inside pouch choices in wild colours, and of course, you'll want to add a nice tassel or sculptural dingle-dangler on this one for an added pop of colour and texture.  

We.  Love.  Leather.

Meanwhile, our friends at Yyoga have added another beautiful location to their growing enterprise- they have just opened in Kitsilano on 4th and Cypress.  Lover Fighter added these silken nautical wrap bracelets to their grab bags for the grand opening this week.  Namaste!

Hello Springtime!

Stack 'em high this Spring

It's been a long, cold Vancouver winter and the weather continues to be confusing here at the LF studio- crocus and snowdrops sprouting as another heavy wet snow cloud  drops a load (poor things!)

No matter the weather, our motto shall ring true:"as long as your wrists stay happy" and we don't mean for shovelling snow, unless of course, we catch a glimpse of a bauble glinting in the pale sunlight as you heave a load over your shoulder...

So many happy things to report:  2012 started with a wonderful bang and Lover Fighter is happily now available all around town... We are the proud new supplier for all of Vancouver's Y Yoga studios!  They will be carrying a very stackable selection of leather cuffs in bright and natural hues.  www.yyoga.com

The next piece of exciting news is that we have recently teamed up to accessorize Vancouver's Jacqueline Conoir.  Their studio on W.5th Ave is currently displaying a great range of necklaces, bracelets and earrings- lots of brass to go beautifully with the new knitted pieces in the JAC line www.jacquelineconoir.com

One wonderful thing about this fashion house is that they manage to have trunk shows every month to select clientele from around the country.  Here is this month's invite, hope to see you there for a glass of wine and a great fashion show

back to school

Hot damn that summer sped on by... so fast that there was hardly any studio mojo at all! T'was mighty tough to conjure up when there were so many quick get-aways to get away on and beaches a'beckoning.  That doesn't mean that cool things, neat ideas, new templates and hot combinations were not happening- oh no- it just means that after a few months away from the hammer, lovely September is going to grant Lover Fighter the time and space needed to execute it all.  Stay tuned for major updates!

This is the best event we have ever been a part of.  Not only do we contribute to very worthy charities (last year we raised over 10,000$ in 3 hours) but it is smokin' busy and super fun.  Oh, and does Lover Fighter have some goodies for you to feast on this time... behold the Nuggetry!  The new line features beautiful nuggets of pyrite (fool's gold) and Quartz chunks on elegant gold chain- so perfect for the summer that is bound to come.
